The Morrigan is one of the Triple Goddesses from Irish mythology, she represented the cycle of life and death, she is also known as the Goddess of War. Many references to her can be found especially in the Táin Bó, the cattle raid of Cooley where the boy hero Cú Chulainn also features. She is said to use the guise of a raven, the main feeder of the dead after a battle.
