Samhain
Autumn
Samhain is the Autumn, the Fall. The Festival of Samhain was first celebrated at Tara when the day and night were equal and the veil between the living and the dead was at it’s thinnest. The festival falls between the 31st October and the 1st November as the Celtic day began and ended at sunset. People would be more familiar with the later day celebration of All Hallow’s Eve or Halloween.
